A 20-year veteran of Law Enforcement, Brigette McBride, is now channeling her experiences into art.
Brigette McBride, a Phoenix, Arizona based artist, works primarily in charcoal and pastel. She's come late into the art world by way of 25 years of public service, including work as a police canine handler, fatal traffic collision reconstructionist, drill instructor and Naval aircraft mechanic. She uses her diverse background to create art that reflects shared human experiences and the beauty found in everyday life.
The recipient of several awards and honors, including 1st place at Phoenix College’s Vanguard Show and The Arizona Artist’s Guild Scholarship, Brigette was recently selected to show her work at the prestigious ARTLINK Juried Awards Exhibit at Axiom Contemporary Gallery in Phoenix.
